Who's a slut? You a slut!!!
This is in response to people who have been commenting and attacking Jenna over the poorly-made video she recently uploaded about sluts. Turns out, I'm the only one in that gossip site that has the guts to voice out my opinion on the whole matter - that I agree with Jenna and whatever she said is agreeable to a certain extent.
Turns out, people who have casual sex for fun are not amused. They do not like to be labelled as sluts. Then let's consult the internet shall we? What is a definition of a slut?
Slut or slattern is a term applied to an individual who is considered to have loose sexual morals or who is sexually promiscuous
Well that is a broad definition. It is definitely up to people to decide whether you should be labelled as such. Jenna has taken it into her video to label those who likes to go home with strangers to have sex for fun as sluts. I don't know who has fallen into that category, but certainly, some of the people she angered.
I mean, really, this is just a term. In my opinion, if you are sleeping around, shouldn't you deserve to be called a slut? Then what are you? Normal? Well, as a person who don't sleep around, I certainly cannot bear to be put into the same bracket as you. For one, we do not share the same sexual morals. The person I sleep with, will be someone I love and care deeply about. The person I sleep with will not be someone I just met from a bar. I am the one with morals. You are not.
So if you aren't. What are you?
Let me tell you straight: you are promiscuous. you have certain idealisms that aren't the same as mine. if you sleep around a lot in that same pattern, then yes let's face it. You. Are. A. Slut.
P.S. : Jenna did not say anything about rape victims or slut-shaming = more potential rape victims. She didn't mean any of those things. She's a Youtube entertainer, not the go-to guide of what is rape and what is not or what is slut and what is not. She's not God. She doesn't define who you are. If that's what you think, that what you do doesn't make you a slut then great, good for you. But people judge, and you have to be ready for that and you can't always fend them all off.
