Yay you posted! I'm really glad that Katie is understanding and supportive of Reid in this. I loved that she thought Reid was interested in some young girl. Oh, I do love also how you're taking your time with this, the fact that Reid is "drawn" to Luke but not ready for anything more (yet?). Outstanding chapter, bb. ~Ali
You're back! Good. Now we can all breathe a little easier while we're still on a high from this stunning chapter, before we start holding our breaths again in the morning, as we wait patiently for the next update. ;)
His voice was the bastard child of a bark and a whisper. So pretty, this line right here.
I loved Reid/Katie in this chapter and how supportive and amazing she was about Reid's realization.
And now that you've introduced the notion of twin souls, I feel like this story is going to end up being so much more and greater than what I expected. And what I expected was already brilliant and incredible, so I'll probably be all out of adjectives and superlatives by the time we get to the final chapter.
Thank you, darlin'! I couldn't imagine Katie not being supportive. And she had a few things to make up for. ;)

And what I expected was already brilliant and incredible, so I'll probably be all out of adjectives and superlatives by the time we get to the final chapter. Wow, thank you! No pressure. :) Then again, if I didn't break under the weight of expectations during First Love, then this should be a piece of cake. I'll do my best to make you proud! There are good things acomin'...
But this is a good thing. Feelings good. Trust me, you don’t want to let these kinds of opportunities slip away just because you’re afraid to change your life, to change the way you’ve always done things.
Yeah, that's how we all feel and what everyone will tell you, but how empty and hollow those words sound in light of the total reconstruction that Reid is going through. And that he's already committed to. There's nothing about his thoughts to indicate that he would choose to do anything but move forward with Luke, if he can. He doesn't need to be persuaded to do this ... I'm not sure what he needs though.
“And this scorned woman’s gonna need a constant supply of lurid details to keep her from wreaking all kinds of vengeance.”
I love Katie. :)
She really didn't deserve this treatment, so it's a relief to see it was coming from her side too. It's not surprising Reid didn't pick up on that.
Any time you post a chapter is a glorious day in my world, you know that, cherimola. :)

She didn't realize the results were already in. Reid is committed; he just needs a little course-charting guidance.

Thank you -- I always look forward to your comments! ♥
Whee, you're back! I want to draw hearts around this whole chapter, I love it so much! ♥
Glad that Katie is so supportive, because Reid sure can use all the help he can get. ;) Now is Luke gonna be back amongst the "living" soon-ish? Poor guy has had enough medical issues to deal with, don't you think?
Oh, and I love the little things you throw at us, like "He filled his mouth with colored sugar." :D

And yet was still trying to be supportive...
the fact that Reid is "drawn" to Luke but not ready for anything more (yet?).
I'll see if I can change his mind. ;)
