Jensen was so, soooo beautiful this ep, I got so distracted by his sheer gorgeousness when I should have been paying attention to what was happening. Had to watch it again and yeah, he distracted me again but this time I was ready for it and persevered. And Jared! He was just as tragic and beautiful and epic with the acting skills.
And seriously, you could smell the Wincest coming off this ep! And I love what wutendeskind said about Cain & Abel and the thousands of years of incest in her post. It actually made me rethink my hate-on of this biblical reference when it comes to the boys because, oh yes, IT CONFIRMS THE WINCEST :D:D:D
Also, this whole conversation with Michael (OMG young!John! UNF!) pissed me off because, hello, Castiel has proven that free will exists, hasn't he?!?!
I wasn't so bothered about Anna, mostly because she wanted to kill Sam so she was fair game. DON"T MESS WITH THE BROTHERS
And the line about his "puny insignificant life". Broke. My. Heart. :'( Also, when Jensen delivered that line I thought he was going to say, "body", as in my body, my choice, which warmed my heart because that means Dean is secretly a feminist.
This has to be my fave ep of the season, hands down.

Agreed! The boys looked so fucking good and they both gave really strong performances. BB, I LOVE MY BOYS SO MUCH.
