HE WAS SO WONDERFUL. I LOVE MY CAS CAKES. AND HIM CLAIMING SAMMY AS HIS FRIENDS. OMFG, I CANNOT TAKE SO MUCH JOY IN MY LIFE AT ONCE.
I mean, I would never imply that Dean *disregards* Cas. I just think that that moment makes it really hard for Disastiel shippers to claim there is any kind of deeper romantic Love there. I mean, Dean's Love is world-crushing, he sold his soul to bring Sam back to life. But he's risking Cas without any hesitation to go help his family which is what Dean is all about. Family. I think him and Cas are really great friends, but Dean will never be able to Love anyone the way he Loves his family ( ... )

I'm not saying there's nothing there. I'm saying there's no romantic Love there. And I'm sorry, willingness to let harm come to him is not consistent to Dean's greater style of Love.
