There was another fire in our building last Friday evening. We were part way through dinner when the alarm went off, so we grabbed Miss K and shoved her into her cat carrier and went downstairs. The fire department just let us back into the building. After numerous false alarms, this one was obviously real because of the smoke and smell we encountered when we opened the door, so we returned to get Miss K, our cat.
