I told my dad to rent the Hannibal DVD and I spent the two hours going through the production photos, interviews of the actors/actresses, and the one hour thirty minute documentary. They showed the audience's reaction as Lecter opens the guy's head. It was hilarious, and the director totally explained it in a way that the scene can almost be seen as funny. It's gory, but it's just so overly done that it becomes laughable.
