Happy Chinese New Years

What better way to spend Chinese New Years than being sick and feeling sleepy all the time. That's how my trip to Taipei was. I was sick the last few days and I felt like total crap.

I went to Taipei on Friday morning and got there in the afternoon. Dude, my 7th grade cousin is 2 centimeters taller than me, but he's still immature. HAAHa. Not as as immature as his brother, who's in 3rd grade. His vocabulary is quite colorful for his age, reminding me of the South Park children.

Well, like a normal Chinese New Years, I got lots of red envelopes. Holy smokes, this was probably one of the best turnouts ever! 13,600 NT. W00t!! I'm RICH AGAIN! Time for some crazy spending!

My cousin brought his dvds from China and heck, he had almost every movie. I watched 8 Mile and the quality was awesome! Anyone know where to get DVD's here in TAiwan that are a bit... "fake?" I also watched Red Dragon. Edward Norton was his typical self and he didn't really woo me with his acting. It was great to see the same actors again in the movie, including Shilton and Barney, as well as the descent to Hannibal's cell. Ralph Fienne's performance was freaky as the sick killer and I'll also note that Hannibal looks older than in Silence of the Lambs, which is a better movie. Stupid Micah thinking Red Dragon's better since he saw it FIRST then saw Red Dragon. N00b!!!!

Played a bunch of Smash Bros and Metroid Prime on my Gamecube while going off to places on the MRT. I was playing this pinball/gambling thingie for 20 min somewhere, while I acted as a bad influence and drank two bottles of Smirnoff along with my cousin (the older one of course). It was neat, and I didn't get a buzz. Hm... alcohol tolerance must be up.

On the freeway on our way back, my dad rear-ended this car in front of us. It was pretty lucky cuz the car was the same height as ours so there was no damage at all, but it was a pretty hard collision.

I checked up my UW account and I WAS FREAKED TO SEE IT CHANGED!

It's great! I'm gonna find out in a couple of days! WISH ME LUCK!! AHHH!! SO NERVOUS!

I might eat Shabu Shabu tonight with my dad or wutever, and ya. Have a good rest of the break folks. As for me, I'm gonna get lots of rest and drink lots of water. Sighs.
