Rant #1:
*me at the grocery store*
*picks up a can of soup*
*reads label*
"low sodium"
"zero trans fat"
"no MSG"
*puts can back*
Why is America so afraid of MSG? Billions of people around the globe consumes MSG on daily basis. Sure, few, and I mean FEW, people have genuine reaction to MSG, but it's like getting struck by lightning compared to people who have reactions to lactose. Do we, as a nation, dare to vilify dairy?
Rant #2:
Have you noticed, in movies and tv shows, that when a character got hung up on the phone, they get dial tones? Ok, it's been a while since I've had land line phones, but I never remember that when someone hang up the phone on the other side in the middle of the conversation, you'd get the dial tone. I got silent tone, but never dial tone. What's up with that?
Rant #3:
I hate it when movies and tv shows have a scene in the car where the driver talks to the person in the passenger seat. They make a lot of eye contacts instead of keeping the attention on the road. Hello? Is that a good message to send to people. Those are the exact the people I hate the most on the road. Keep your eyes on the road! I don't care if you're driving a fake car in front of a blue screen. If movies care enough to have actors wear seatbelts in a scene, they should make them keep their eyes on the road.
