Dear Family & Friends,

In 1999, I started a public online journal about my life so that Ted and his family can get to know me a little better. I intend to be cute. ;) Hehehhe...did you know that the meaning of "Fobby" has changed recently? Yes, we are very fobby!

Originally from FOB, but has lost nearly all of it's negative connotation

Refers to fashion and accessories and products from Eastern Asia

ie: Hello Kitty & Sanrio products
"Oh I LOVE my fobby eraser!"
That fobby notebook is sooo cute!
Where did you get those fobby socks!
"Get me some fobby gifts when you go back to Taiwan!"

I don't think it's recent... at least not for me because I use "fob" when referring to anything about/from my country and Asians in general

When should you stop referring to yourself as a fob anyway? I still call myself fob in my profile even after 9 years of living in America. :-\

Well, I never call myself Fob until I met you. It's sort of a thing I learned from you. The thing is, if you are truly fobby, you wouldn't know you are fobby.
