My FRIENDS ONLY letter to everyone
Dear Family & Friends,
In 1999, I started a public online journal about my life so that Ted and his family can get to know me a little better. Over the years, I have written hundreds if not thousands of entries, first on Opendiary.com and now on LJ. Since then I have grown from a little 18 year old Chinese immigrant college kid to a married Chinese American career woman. A lot of things have changed in the past 10 years. I came to realize that privacy is hard to come by these days with all the online social networks like Facebook and Myspace. In order to make sure that I don't in anyway jeopardize my career and my private life, I decided to make my journal private.
