What I've been up to....
Meteor and I designed a gingerbread train, and spent the better part of a week making, baking and cutting out pieces. Then, his sister Pam came over and we assembled and decorated it together! It was so much fun.
I've been working on this bag for months. I learned how to coil wire on a mandrel and turn it into decent links. I also learned how to make a coif weave. My master wasn't around to teach me how to line the bag, but I think did an ok job. Most of it is handsewn, but I zig-zagged the edges to prevent fraying.
Please tell me if you think the closure is stupid looking. I wasn't sure how to do it, but I knew I wanted to incorporate green and purple. I plan to give this as a Christmas present, so any constructive criticism is very welcome.
