As far as kdramas go, coffee prince is a must. It's one of my absolute favorite dramas from any country. The chemistry between the two leads is great

Thank you so much for the recs!! I have downloaded Coffee Prince already, but haven't watched it. I should probably move it up on my list since everyone says it's really good. :)
Legend seems interesting. I've never really watched a fantasy/period drama, but it be something I'm interested in. What's the plot and stuff??
With these recs, I will officially be watching dramas for the rest of my life, lol. Thanks again <3333
Legend is... well, epic. I think the whole thing spans a couple thousand years *scratches head*. If I get any of the details wrong, don't kill me.
So basically God sends his son (I think) down to earth to help the people of Korea unite and whatnot. But things do not go well. Therefore, tons of years later (this is all prophesized, btw), he is born again as Prince Dam Duk. The prophecy states that he will basically unite all the lands of Korea into Gorgeo. There are all these themes of man vs heaven, choice vs. fate, etc. Awesome fight scenes, kickass girls, and the whole drama is just really pretty. So yes. Action, drama, angst, and a smattering of romance. It took me a couple tries to get into it (that darn first episode!), but a couple episodes in and I was hooked.
It's also pretty short compared to most historical kdramas.
Here's a better summary of Legend complete with screencaps and humor!
Wow, after reading your description and the description at the site you gave me, it sounds really interesting. I'm going to download it and give it a watch. Since it seems so highly recommended, I'm going to move it up on my list. :D
