Be Near
Gosh, let's see. The Milne's Bible study started Tuesday. They are great. I have no desire to do any of my work in school. I am failing about all of my classes. And all I care about is going away on missions next summer. God's hilarious. But I know that I need to worship Him by being diligent in my work. I'm going to try harder at that. I told Robert tonight how excited I had gotten when last weekend we were talking and I asked him what he thought. He said he thought I was asking him what to do, which I was. It totally made me excited that I am now looking to him as a leader. It may not always be appropriate, but I don't always expect him to tell me what to do. It's just awesome to know that I am seeing him in that way. He said that was cool. He also said that Rick Milne had talked Tuesday about how guys are supposed to be the one in the relationship making the girls want more of God. And I told him that I can't wait until he does. Then he said he doesn't want me to wait, to have to wait. Very sweet. But I know that he's just sitting down to salad, as Shaun would say. When you're learning from God it's like a meal. There's sometimes more courses to the meal than you thought or expected. He's just now sitting down to eat his salad and he's got the rest of the meal to go. Honestly, I'm just excited he showed up for dinner. Really, he's being such an encouragement to me. He knows and understands why I say the things I do about us not being together and following God. He agrees, which makes it easier to do. I think I'm rambling. I should go to sleep. Go Cocks! Beat Ole Miss!
