i've been doing a little conversing on tumblr lately about the idea of johnnys having daemons and it's been eating at my brain ever since. it originally started when i started re-reading the his dark materials trilogy audiobook-style on the way to work every day, and, as usual, my mind started to wander in between trips.

( is it any surprise whose daemons i figured out first? )

i toyed with the idea of a peacock, but i felt like it was too easy. XD

though omg a magpie is pretty genius. she would hide all of his rings, awwww.

I'm mostly here to agree that a sloth is amazing for Ohno, because really, it's perfect. :D

isn't it? when they're not sleeping, they're eating! it's all ohno needs in a daemon. XD and their wee dazed little faces are perfect mirrors of ohno's own face~

haha omg i don't know nearly enough about ken but somehow that feels right. it'd have to be one of the tiny, adorable varieties, i think! and emperor penguin just seems over-the-top. XD

omg how cute would a wild pony daemon be? they'd both have weird sticky-uppy hair and a penchant for wandering around and neither of them would know how they got to a certain location and it would just be a mess. also yes a wombat is also good if only for their blank, tiny-eyed little faces.

aw, i like your reasoning for sho's daemon! maybe a rat, though? mice are easier to hide, but rats are as scholarly as an animal can get. they'd have so much fun learning together~

i'm totally set on aiba having a giraffe if only for the out-of-place-ness that it would create. THOUGH a camel would also be equally hilarious. some sort of zoo-type animal that aiba can be constantly fascinated by, i think!
