i've been doing a little conversing on tumblr lately about the idea of johnnys having daemons and it's been eating at my brain ever since. it originally started when i started re-reading the his dark materials trilogy audiobook-style on the way to work every day, and, as usual, my mind started to wander in between trips.
to be fair, i figured ohno would have a sloth pretty quickly. it's a given, right? but nino came second because while i kind of have a soft spot for him as the ~man without a daemon~ i think it's only fair to speculate on what he could have. a sneaky, tricky fox would be a good fit, i think - she would peek over nino's shoulder during game time to give her unsolicited advice on how he's doing and wind around his legs during concerts in an effort to make him fall over. a perfect fit!
jun took two days to figure out, which is kind of embarrassing as a jun fan, but whatever he's deep or something. i went with a green-winged macaw because they're fancy and smart and family-friendly and they have a characteristic ~husky voice~ PLUS she would totally fit in with the theme of half of arashi's concert outfits, so she's clearly perfect for jun.
i don't know about the rest of arashi, though. i keep going back to a giraffe for aiba, but that might just be a little ridiculous. and i can't even start to think about sho. i feel like i don't know enough about him to even speculate, really. :(
BUT WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF JE SOMEONE HELP ME I WILL NOT REST UNTIL I'VE FIGURED EVERYONE OUT.
