i went to the bon odori yesterday (yukata photos to come when daniel uploads them) and it was a lot of fun! we danced, we participated in a quiz, we ate ice cream and cotton candy, etc etc. i'll talk more about it when i have pictures to go along with my words.
for now, actual photos of my apartment! not those scary-dark ones i was sent from before.
view of the main room from the kitchen. there's a lot more floorspace than it looks like, but you know. tricks of the camera. the bedding is completely from dacia and it's SO NICE to sleep in.
my... chifforobe, i guess. dacia and i had talked about arashi a little bit before she left the apartment, so she left the poster in there for me ♥

view from the bed. the kitchen does have a light, but it's not on (obviously). i have a kotatsu (and rachel doesn't, so i think it was dacia's) so i can't wait for it to get cold here. if it ever does. also, yes, hiro and goro are already prominently displayed, as are arashi. now i just need something for that big, empty frame.
so that's about it for now. more photos as they surface.
ALSO i do have a text file on my desktop called "offline thoughts" where i typed out things i noticed before i got the internet. once i sort that out into coherent paragraphs, that'll be posted as well.
