And. Much to my surprise. The livejournal is still here. Not deleted. Still existing on its own. Perpetual posts. Maybe not quite.
So after a long years' break, in which I moved to Portugal and became a full-time opera singer, I intend to breath new life into this old blog. This started out as my 'German' adventure blog, focusing (primarily) on life and language experiences in Germany.
Perhaps you'll remember my 'chicken skin'mistake or the German use of three consonants in one word. Hello, anybody need a spannbetttuch? We bought a spannbetttuch at Ikea yesterday. It's spanning the bett tuch-ishly right now. This is no fool of a tuch!
The primary function of this blog will still be to provide sarcastic anecdotes (for any Germans reading this, sarcastic does not mean ironic). Trust me, there are so many sarcastic anecdotes waiting to be told. I have plenty of writing material!
The secondary function will be to try out having a blog in general. How can I change the template? How can I use html? Stuff like that. . . in order to be prepared to launch another blog/website combination geared towards selling Flash website templates to opera singers and other artists. Ja ja I know, html doesn't have anything to do with Flash, but nevertheless it's not bad to freshen up on it for the blog component, which will be mostly my responsibility.
