another update, though i havent really been posting on here in awhile. got back from tahoe yesterday. nice family trip, i was only there for four days, but the flight back worked out well. flight there was stressful. flying on the morning they decided to ban liquids on planes=15 hours of airport time and six hours in phoenix. at the barry goldwater terminal. wasn't too happy by the time i made the hour drive from the airport but the rest of the trip was nice. but lake tahoe is beautiful. spending time with the family was nice, reminded me of why i'm happy to live in michigan. got to see heather and co., which was also a lot of fun. played some wiffle ball. went kayaking. hiked at 9,000 feet. took a boat ride. navigated getting to and from reno to tahoe by myself. through mountains. for a michigan girl, that was a bit challenging. but i'm proud of myself. read two books - extremely loud and incredibly close, and prep. was very impressed by the first one. prep was entertaining. now i'm back at work. big event on thursday. art gallery/poetry display for the summer girls program.
