Productive
Been busy so far this week. Yesterday I was doing call answering all morning, then got my magazines out to most of the shops in the afternoon. Popped in to see Mum and ended up smashing up an old wardrobe for her and taking it to the tip. She's just had new fitted wardrobes put in - the guy was there putting the frames in yesterday, so i haven't seen the finished job yet.
I had a meeting today with an HR consultancy - I met them at the business show I went to tend days ago, in a speed networking event. We'd talked for 2 mins so I really wasn't sure what to expect today, but it went really well - clicked with everyone there, and what I'd thought would take 20mins took an hour and a half! They've ended up booking ads for at least 6 months, plus sopme editorial in my business supplement next month. Then on to the local museum, for a handover meeting - the current administrator, who gives me articles every week, retires tomorrow so I met the guy who's taking over to sort out their strategy for the nexst few months. Home for my weekly mentoring meeting, a quick phone call in response to an email got me another new advertiser for the next few months, out to meet my secret friendly stalker (local man who delivers mags in one of the villages in exchange for a page for the village school, my number 1 fan!!) for a beer, delivered the magsd to shops in my town, finally home!!!
Now watching a repeat of Come Dine With Me on More4, talking to Steve on MSN and drinking some well deserved wine :)
