Another good weekend
Really tired so will keep this short.
Had a lovely lazy lie in yesterday morning, so rare not to be rushing off anywwhere on a Saturday. Steve came round at lunchtime and brought some pasties from the local deli, yum. Katie went out shopping with friends, Dan was out playing with friends, we cuddled up and watched crap telly. Then went to pub for beer and the England game, and Katie joined us when she got back. Home with a takeaway, more crap telly and an early to bed but late to sleep night *ahem*
Awake early this morning for the Grand Prix. Excellent race, very enjoyable and fab to see Button and Barrichello the Brawn boys doing so well. Pleased that Hamilton came third too, proved his credentials as a great driver given that his car is almost the slowest on the grid at the moment.
Off to watch Dan play football ... bit of a disaster because only 8 players turned up! Theey put on a valiant battle against a full strength opposition (even though the other team are bottom of the league) butr went down 10-0, just too much to do.Poor boys.
On to the rifle range, did a couple of cards to warm up, then a 68, then did a shoot off game against Steve and Katie - basically we took a shot at the same time, highest shot wins. I won by a lot, but also scored 68 and 70 on my cards. Still need to improve if I'm going to make it through to the competition. The rang eis shut next weekend and then we're doing an Easter fun shoot on Easter Sunday - so I'm going in next FGriday to do my competition shots.
A quick whiz round the supermarket then home for some lunch and a misguided glass of wine which has wiped me out for the day! Ended up upstairs with Steve watching Moto GP testing. He went home about 6ish and I've been watching telly with Katie since.
Really sleepy now. it;s 9.10pm - but with the clocks going forward yesterday my body thinks it's 8.10pm - but I'm seriously considering going to bed in a minute!!!
