I truly love Chelsea, but I am also aware that we are a London club and if there is one thing a London club does well it's throw away a title. I have noted that we generally do well in the big matches, Arsenal, Man U, but we fall over the little guys, Hull City, Wigan etc.
Another thing I have noted is that we play better when we are not top, as we are better striving for something than maintaining a lead. Being top now puts us at risk. Our team is full of awesome players, but with the awesome skills come enormous egos and I do not feel that Ancelotti is the right person to manage these. If we had Mourinho in charge now, or Guus, then yes, I would be confident that the title would be ours, but they're not and this allows us to be our own worst enemy. It may be sooner, ie. a draw, or even an "upset" loss to Bolton, or it may be right near the finish line, but either way I feel we will fall over. I also see big cracks in our team, play and management and we are perilously close to having these capitalised upon. Look at Malouda's treatment at the hands of the United players today and Drogba's treatment in most matches and I can't help but feel it's only a matter of time before they get seriously hurt and given the state of refereeing this year, we probably give away a free kick for diving.
Oh and I am known as the pessimistic mod here, xxfenwaynation is more of the optimistic (I hope realist *lol*) mod.

Haha those are valid points you make, but given Arsenal's injury woes I find it hard to believe they can win every match and have us drop 4 points. And if Rooney misses enough matches, United will almost certainly drop more points as well. It's the risk you take having only one viable scoring option (I believe nobody else has more than 5 goals?).
Given opponents injuries, there is zero reason chelsea shouldn't win the title. A draw in anfield are the only points that are half acceptable to drop. This team should literally be pulling a Villa (7-1) on everyone.
Also, more 4-3-3 malouda/drogba/cole plz. Less deco/anelka/yuri(LB version).

I think Arsenal have a rather achievable run home, even with their injuries, they are facing teams that while "up there" (City and Sp*rs) they should be able to attack and beat even with a depleted squad.
As for Rooney I just got a text from a mate who is a Bayern fan and word is Rooney may play against them in their next match...Why did Michael Jackson have to leave Man U his magic healing tent in his will??!! ;).
We should win, trouble is we (Chelsea) know this and that is where we come unstuck! I completely agree with you on the 4-3-3 comment and match review comments.
