Manchester United 1, Chelsea 2.

*Does the happy dance* (and then stops as he remembers he can't dance very well. :P)

What a strange game thanks to the proverbial 3 blind mice. A Chelsea, Manchester United match is always going to be controversial, but I really wonder if they could have made it even more controversial if they had tried, or perhaps they did try?

There were penalties not given, an "offside" goal allowed and a "handballed", Maradona playing for France against Ireland goal allowed and only 4 minutes of added time at Old Trafford when United were behind. What a strange day! Unsurprisingly Fergie is not happy and Ancelotti is stating the obvious, again, by saying this puts us in a very strong position to win the title.

Malouda was again outstanding and this time he was given man of the match, deservedly so. Anelka ran around taking up oxygen, while Drogba sat on the bench. Can we PLEASE sell Anelka while he may still be worth something? I know I keep saying it, but I keep not getting google results for "Anelka to be sold by Chelsea" other than a facebook site that agrees with me, but isn't me and spells much worse than I do ;).

Drogba came on and scored what turned out to be the winner, with Joe Cole having netted the first at the end of some wonder play from Malouda. It was all hands on deck for United from there on, one of the hands found its way to the ball and knocked the ball into the net and it was 1-2. The nail biting was limited to 9 minutes regular time and only 4 minutes of added time, something of a record at Old Trafford I believe.

For the record I tipped a 2-1 win to Chelsea, but before a certain someone here asks, yes, sadly I still think we'll finish 3rd, but at least now it will be our own doing. At least I hope it will be our own doing, but the way refs have been this year, who knows....
