Classes begin....

Today was my first day back to class. Today was the lecture part of my Community Health class. Check this out.. we have one hour of lecture and 4 hours of lab per week, but its a 3 hour class. Well okay, we dont have 4 hours of lab every week, but most weeks we do. The lab part is actually "service learning" hours, which we have classes sometimes and the rest of the time we have to go and volunteer at certain places. The lab requires a paper and the class requires an interview as well as a "community assessment." It seems like it is going to be a lot of work, but I think it might be fun. I think one of the fun parts is working with the Emergency Preparedness Drill for Baldwin Co. Basically it is in the event of a Disaster or Terrorist act, we will have people to educate and dispense vaccinations on a mass level. I think the hospital, health dept, police, fire and ems, and local volunteers are the people that will be involved with it. The drill will have tons of volunteers as "victims" or whatever they are calling them. Tomorrow I have an 8am class, with a teacher I dont think I am going to care for. I also have a public relations class at 11, and my research class at 5:30pm. I think I am going to go pay my graduation application fee tomorrow morning between classes. I meet with my advisor on Thursday to finish up my graduation application! YAY! I take my senior exit exam on Thursday, October 7 at 2pm, but since we are taking in a class that is not all Community Health majors, we have to find a time that we can all meet with our Advisor for a study group. That is on top of all the other work for our classes and our jobs!
On another note.. we found out that the people we rent our house from want to sell it to someone else, which TOTALLY ruins our plans. We dont know for sure if they are going to sell it, and if they are.. when. We wanted to possibly buy the house from them and then use it as a rental property in the future. But if we do have to move we are going to move in with some other people to help cut costs so we can save money. But we arent going to worry about it until we know for sure if they are going to sell. We would have to put a lot in storage, but I think it would be okay. Maybe we wouldnt have to keep it there long! Oh well I better get back to work...
Later taters.
