This is the scene in my hallway right now. Chaos.
Wednesday was Home Improvement Day in the western house. The plumber came and.. plumbed, I guess. Bathroom drains are once again draining at full capacity.
The dryer hose has been successfully reattached, so running the dryer no longer heats up the house and spews dust everywhere. Meaning that I could actually USE it again if I wanted to.. but I kinda like drying clothes on the line. It's nice to have the option again, though.
And I have a shiny new smoke detector that will not shriek randomly and scare the bejesus out of me. I got the (supposedly) 10 year, lasts almost forever, lithium battery kind.
Now ragazz' has all kinds of practice in home improvement techniques for the NEW house.
I hung out with Ms. SuperAwesome (aka my niece) in the afternoon, too. And it was, indeed, super-awesome.
In more awesome news.. it's 5:40AM and my windows are open, and the a/c isn't running. Hallelujah and all that.
