My dearly-loved cousin Mary Hartigan is a lover of cats, particularly black ones, so when she learned of another black kitten coming to join our little family, she sent him a gift. She sent a check for his neutering operation (and some treats and toys); Kevin told him he had gotten a scholarship to finishing school.
Kevin has just left with Tully, eighteen weeks old, yowling in a crate, for the city spay/neuter clinic. Poor baby! We will see him about 14:00. Rumi is happy that the food bowls are back down after the pre-op fast, considering he already got his diploma.
