During the day we did nothing for Shrove Tuesday. We serve French toast on Tuesdays and pancakes on Thursdays, and if we'd been on the ball, we could have done pancake races this morning. Ah well, next year.
Tonight's progressive dinner seemed to go very well. We served a lot of guests, and all the food was good. Let's see if I can post the menu here.

All in all, a good event, came off without a hitch, only minimal friction in the kitchen (the suits get SO touchy around special events). They tell me it went MUCH better than last year.
