Mother of Mercy! I am SO glad it's my weekend. Lines are converging: I've been under labor budget (a percentage of sales) in the busy season. I'm right at budget now as sales slow, and have to start pinching my labor pennies to make it later in the off-season. I was right at 100 hours for the pay period, myself. I ran out of corned beef yesterday, no Reubens as well as no spinach... bah.
Kevin went huckleberry picking today and got two gallons of red AND blue berries. We may go again tomorrow.
I need to buy socks. My two new pairs of Chefwear work pants came today, yay! No more filthy stained 5-year-old CCA checks or cheap Sodexho UniVogue blacks. And they aren't the stupid Chefwear cargo pants with too much Velcro on the pocket flaps or the funky patterned ones with no fly! Double yay!
Wednesday I should get to see danthered again and get to meet bitterlawngnome AND introduce them to Kevin! Triple yay!
I have checks with an address that matches my driver license, for the first time since 1999.
