So I go Hornblower - The Complete Collection for Christmas and have been watching them over the past week. Much like the Sharpe's stories the Hornblower series follows the adventures of a young man during the Napoleonic wars. The books are great. Enjoy!

(And then I'll send you "Master and Commander", which should make you want to read Patrick O'Brian; that's assuming that you've read all the Sharpe novels already...?)

The Library has failed me so off to chapters I go. Well okay I will be going tomorrow. As to the Sharpe novels, I have them all. Alas they are in storage in Alaska, but I have them all. I also looked for the Patrick O'Brian novels but they only had one and it was the last so those will be on my list to get after the Hornblower books.
