Well it looks like I will close this quarter with a bang instead of starting next quarter like that. The two accounts I had been waiting on both got the credit apps in yesterday. I thought hell had frozen over. This week was a fairly productive week. I saw alot of my accounts and even more prospects. Next Wednesday will be a busy one for me. I have a warehouse tour with the Sous Chef of Rathbun's and a sit in the afternoon with the Chef of an upscale Steak house. The Rathbun's account would definitely insure job security. The owners and upper management have been salivating over that account since he opened 2 years ago. He is opening another restaurant next year too. I also met one of the rudest chef's the other day. And to top it off he was a Chef at a low end Embassy Suites. Not exactly your bastion of culinary delight.
There is one of my accounts that is toying with me. It was my second largest. Now he places an order every other week. Damn man, get with the program. Shit or get off the pot.
Oh well, Another week coming to a close. I'll work some accounts this morning, go into the office and do some paperwork and print and fax price sheets and then sit for an hour and a half in a boring sales meeting and then get that call at 3:30 that someone needs product for dinner service. Knowing my luck it will be 2. One in someplace like Stone Mountain or Duluth and the other way up in Kennesaw. Try fighting Friday Atlanta traffic with that one. There are no back roads to take.
