New Digs
So i'm on day 2 of the new job. and let me tell you... this job is AWESOME!
First of all EVERYONE, and i mean EVERYONE, is super nice and very polite and terribly friendly there. Second, my boss is SUPER COOL! Thirdly, the other Help desk specialist I work with Rides Motorcycles, has a great sense of humor, and plays Magic the gathering at lunch with all the accounting staff! WOOT!
Can you say built in peer group? hehehe..
not to mention the benefits just blow every job I've ever had out of the water, the work is EASY, INTERESTING, and best of all Right up my alley! How did I stumble on this dream job? i'm still shaking my head. whew! God is great and works in very mysterious ways.
There are other aspects of my life right now that aren't so hot but for the first time I think I have finally found a place to fit in work wise. This place is even one of the very few companies left with a pension plan for it's employees.. I need to be there for a year but after that the company just starts setting money aside for me to retire on. And that's in addition to my 401k that the company contributes too. holy cow!!!!!!
Got a new CD too. Pretty good I think. It's by a group called RED and the album is called End of Silence. Very good stuff if you like it heavy.
I've still go stuff that I think I want to journal about but I need to sit on it for a while and think about it. Right now have to go return some stuff at the store and make dinner.
