Gaming capers of the great and not so great variety...

The Not-So-Great: My PS3 got the Red Screen of Death. This means that data on the console's hard drive got corrupted and now it won't start up properly. This also means that I'm pretty much PS3-less until I can replace and/or reformat the hard disk. This also means that I've lost all of my game data and would have to rebuild everything from scratch. Got a $20 hard disk of ebay, same deal - 80gb hard disk, PS3 compatible, even still has the OS installed on it, and it can be reformatted to however I like. Only a matter of time until it comes in. Hopefully soon. I miss my PS3 and the sooner I can the damn thing fixed, the better. Hopefully the cheap one will work and then I can save the money for a newer, better drive later in the future. Also found an external drive in my desk that's been reformatted to the proper format and will now serve as a backup. Cheetah's sad now. ;_; (For the curious, the RSOD is the PS3 equivalent to the XBox360's Red Ring of Death.)

The Great: Been replaying Dark Cloud. At least my PS2 still works. Like a charm. Dark Cloud is a fun, fun game. I've missed it. Now I'm wanting to write Dark Cloud/Legend of Mana crossover. Now I want more good fan fiction for Dark Cloud. There's not a lot to be found. Also found some old DC fanfics on her hard drive, which is laughably bad but people still found them to be good when they were first published. (they've been since taken down.) All of the "new fanfic writer" errors apply. It's highly amusing.

I might be crazy enough to build up 3 Chronicle swords now. O_o
