I finally finished with school, and I'm sadly disappointed with the results. I only got one A this semester. The rest were all B's, which doesn't suck (especiall considering I probably deserved to fail Poly Sci Research and Philosophy of the Law for never showing up to either of them), but it pulled my GPA down significantly one semester before graduation. So that DOES suck. Whatever.
So after not going home since Christmas, I finally had my opportunity on Saturday. So after working all morning, I headed out (missing Shannon's party). I was restless and had to stop a few times, but I rolled into town around 7:30 and picked up some groceries on the way. I saw some smoke on the way that was probably about a mile wide and my mom told me that there was a fire out further in Lehigh that had started that afternoon. So we had dinner and chatted, and then Jordan (and his gimpiness) and I went over to Tori's boyfriends to chill for a while. I think Jordan was just happy to get out of that house.
The next day I woke up kinda late and laid out by the pool with mom for a while until some of her friends came over. They went for a drive and went to see some model homes and the results of the fire (which ended up being 4 separate fires which burned over 2000 acres, destroyed 15 homes, and damaged many more). Jordan and I hung out until the old people came back to grill out for supper. Then I went to bed. Monday morning I woke up early and headed out to Sanibel Island with Tori. It was so much fun. There weren't many people there, so it was really quiet. We packed a lunch and bought some ice cream. Good times. She got a horrible sunburn, and after my mom picked a fight with me that night, she came over and watched a movie with Jordan and I. The next day I ran some errands before meeting up with Katie. We met up for coffee. It was really nice to see her again. I can't believe we've been friends for almost 10 years, that seems crazy...and makes me feel old. After that I headed back to Tally. It seemed to take forever. I was restless, and I even stopped and ate at Chill's by myself, which was kind of weird. But I read a book while I was there, so it wasn't too bad.
Yesterday it was back to work. I was kind of bored the rest of the day, but my body is still so tired. Today I went into work, and had to deal with some bitchy ladies I didn't want to deal with. Thank goodness I won't have to deal with the league ever again (it's over for the season, and next Thursday is my last day!!!). I came home and took an nap, went to the pool, and then took another nap (for two hours). I'm still tired too. Yeah, I know, it's sad. And it's back to work tomorrow...but Austen's coming into town tomorrow, and that makes me happy!
