so, did i mention that i watched the Painted Veil on new year's day? hmm? well i did.
it was fantastic.
(i think i may be developing a bit of a celebrity-crush on Edward Norton, for anyone who cares. he's great.

just for the record, I really didn't like The Last of the Mohicans movie at all. I thought it stank like poopie.

I have to admit that I think I was distracted by the actors, and don't remember a single thing about scenery (though upstate New York, if it was shot on location, is a beautiful place!) or music.

silly kevin. don't ever get distracted by actors. and actually, i think it was shot in North Carolina (which, of course, is the superior of the two carolinas). you should watch it again just for the location and the music. the music is great.

and also, that movie was awesome for only two reasons. ok, only three.
1) the horses had friggin eyebrows.
2) i got to sit next to kevin and hear him ranting about the random geography changes
3) any movie seen with shawna is a good movie. possibly not for the other theater-goers, but if i have to go to the "special hell" at least i'll be in good company.

and 4) gold star to anyone that picks up on that reference

My best guess at that is Firefly...that one episode where Mal is threatened with a 'special hell' by Shepherd Book.
