Duncan Sheik is addictive...
So here I am at 2 AM, not in the least bit tired because I just drank two cans of Pepsi to help my throat and slept for 9 hours earlier. lol fine by me, really, as SPRING BREAK IS ON! WOOOOOOOOT! Now if I could just get better...I think Talie gave me a bit of whatever she had. lol fun, fun. I went home sick today after 2nd period since I reallllllly didn't feel good, broke down in front of the book store lady, and 'twas a half day so there was really no point in staying. Fortunately, I got two of the three things I went to school for done: I turned in my National Honor Society dues and gave C-dawg his birthday card (and he STILL refuses to reveal his age...I still say 'tis 30). Rather unfortunately, I need to talk to Mrs. Hyland about Big Sisters and really, really, really HOPE that she'll take pity on me and still let me in the club. lol if not, I can just join next year. But oh snap peas, I'm SOOOOOOOOOOO excited about NHS! WOOOOOOT! lol I'm hoping they'll assign me to someone in the English department, if not the entire department itself, as that is possible. It's definitely where I'd be of the best and most use, as it IS my best subject. That would just be so cool...haha I'm such a nerd.
Meanwhile, I have A's in every single subject EXCEPT Biology. But I've kinda gotten used to the fact that I'll end up with a B in that class no matter what I do, which is fine by me because then I can totally fail the final and still be okay. Then I'll just worry about Theology and French and how borderline my grades have been in those classes...and that is when finals come in handy. Or get more annoying. Either way, really. ;)
Oh, oh, and MORE meanwhile, Casey has a girlfriend...I think. haha so I was told. But everybody lies...occasionally. You know, I don't know where I was going with that. lol I just enjoy saying "everybody lies". And for more guy-ness, the boys in my French class are rediculously annoying sometimes. The other day they wouldn't shut up, and I swear if Collin keeps staring at Danielle (his girlfriend, who I can tell gets annoyed too sometimes lol) she should just smack him and tell him to pay attention. Anyway, at the moment there really is no crush going on in my life. Although I did have a dream about the dude that made me miss him even more, but that's an entirely different story. And he looked really good in said dream. lol but moving on...
Duncan Sheik's music, while slightly emo sometimes, is entirely addictive. I think I had She Runs Away on repeat for a good 3-4 days. haha and so many of his songs are SO House/Cameron, 'tis amazing! This one (the one I'm currently listening to) isn't House/Cameron so much as it just...is. Wow, this incredibly wonderful diction is what comes of cold medicine and 2 Pepsis at 2 AM. Ooh, a 2 motif. < Okay, now see that is the reason why I should help out the English department.
More randomness! I'm going to call Thom Brennaman this week and talk to him about helping me out/giving me advice/possibly "interning" with him and fetching he and Gracie hot dogs and such randomness as that. haha Anything really, I just need to do what Rick D'Amico told me to and start getting experience in broadcasting. Yayers!

There's really not much else to say other than that spring cleaning=break/watching Rogers and Hammerstein musicals. lol don't ask me where that second one came from...I've had the sons from The King & I stuck in my head for about a month now and when I recently found out that the Captain and Maria in The Sound of Music are 20 years apart, the movie suddenly caught my interest. haha so yeah, that's that, really. To all my Xavier gals: have a great spring break! To my other friends...I'm sorry. lol WOOT! Spring break! lyl all, au revoir! :-D
