This journal's inactivity is mainly due to me catching up on some favorite TV series, most of which I haven't watched since April as I was very busy trying to leave a good impression before I left. ;) Actually, for fun, I'm also downloading a lot to see if my ISP will call me (which I hear they do if you go over the monthly limit). My dad says with the amount we're paying, there shouldn't be a limit, and for once, I agree with him. I miss NTT Flets. ;_;
And now, an interesting episode title from the anime,
Gashbell: For those who can't read Japanese, the first part of the title is literally pronounced "GODAAAAAAMN!!" There's actually a villain in the show whose catchphrase is "GODAAAAAAMN!!" XD The show's core audience is the 12-and-under crowd, so that explains why so many elementary kids kept yelling "GODAAAAAMN" a lot last year. ^^ Most Japanese just don't realize how much more weight curse words carry in the West than in Japan, where "KUSOOOO~!" is even used in toddler-friendly Anpanman. ^^;
Gashbell has completely won me over -- it's the best monster-training anime out there -- lotsa humor, heart, action, and an insane comic art style. I recently finished Episode 43 and couldn't stop laughing, it's so friggin cute and silly . . you guys gotta check it out yourself. ^^b So here ya go, w/ English subs too!

The episode's not part of the main plot, so you don't need to know anything to enjoy it. It's just about the gang going to the mall to see a superhero in a grasshopper suit.
Aaand it's 200 megs, so I doubt any of you will d/l it, but eh, thought I'd try. ^^
If you wanna see more and aren't in Japan, the rest of the fansubs are over here:
