Sorry, you're right, I had the wrong answer down. >_< Fixed and thanks. Actually, I also read euphuism and euphemism originally, but apparently they're a bit different.

Well, I have been reading those vocab quiz pages in Readers' Digest since 1960 or so, so that probably gives me some advantage. :)

I'm kind of thinking you have the wrong letter down as the answer to 40. Although I admit I too thought it was probably supposed to be euphemism, and checked the closest match....

Well, I've been studying Japanese words since 1997 and I can only remember 10% of them. :P So you must have a good memory too. ;) All hail Queen Nurse!

Well, I saved the hardest for last and you got them all right, so I think that earns a self high-five. ;) Seriously though, could the dictionary make the wrong choices any lamer? Even if I truly don't know the words I could figure out that, say, a euphuism isn't a lie detector. :P If only multiple choice answers in school were this obvious . .
