Farewell, College "Huh?" Words
It's a slow Thursday evening, slow enough to post up the last batch of College-words-I'm-suppose-to-know-but-don't. But before we put this series to sleep, here's some stats from previous polls . .
Words I should've known: icon, ambrosia, discursive, laxity, masticate
Words that most people didn't know: pellagra, batiste, aneroid, abrogate
"Huh?" Words Champion: neonnurse . . although I didn't keep score, I did notice that Da Nurse was getting even the hard ones right. I think she's only missed one of the 35 so far. Congrats, you're the Queen of Vocab! =D
For this final one, I decided to remove the "Don't Know" option to encourage a bit more educated guessing. ;)

Wrestling Ticker: Holy crap, I just noticed that I'm in first place in the WWE Fantasy league this week! Depending on how the rest of the week goes, I might finally score a t-shirt. I hope they let me choose because this one is the only one I want. XD
Obscure News Ticker: I'm trying to wrap my head around this one: Fan loves singer, quits school to idolize him everyday. Fan's father wants to please daughter, sells his house and spends all his life savings to send daughter to singer's country. Father planned to sell his kidney to support daughter's dream.
