Hey Ho!
We are in Barcelona and I´m all sweaty and hungry. Also, Jesse and I have decided that Gaudi is a very bad man, but I still feel compelled to go and look at all the ugly buildings he designed. We´re even staying right near the Sagrada Familia so we get to see the church that will never be finished at least once a day. Woo.
I´ve really left this too long between entries as so much funny stuff happened in Switzerland that I can´t remember most of anymore! Some school kids threw chalk at Jesse and.. and... I don´t remember! Argh! Maybe it´ll come back to me when I get back home.
And, we climbed the mountain! YAY! It was great, and very very exhausting. I have never had such a hard walk before. How much uphill can there be with no downhill? This is the question I was continually asking Jesse on our walk, and the answer is, a damn lot. But it was all worth it as we got to see cute little baby goats prancing and we made friends with a sheep dog who wanted to come in a cable car with us (no, we didn´t walk the entire vertical 2km - but we walked about 1km which I think is pretty cool!) and the cable car was an experience in itself.
We decided that we didn´t want to walk for 5 hours so we caught a car up about 500m of hillside to shorten the walk to 3 hours. When we got to the cable car station there was no one there and I was a bit pissed as we were half way up a big hill and I wanted a break dammit. Then we found a phone on the wall and there was a man on the other end, so I said "We´d like to catch the calble car up please" and he said "How many persons?" I said "2" and he said "Okay. Get in!"
Jesse and I were somewhat confused and scared but we did it anyway after telling our doggy friend that he couldn´t come with us and the end of the story is that all was good, the guy was up the top of the lift, and there was no death.
I´m runny out of time and have to go. But Barcelona is good, the mountain top was the best thing ever and Jesse and I had a snowball fight and I had my very own icicle for a while.
See you all soon! xxoo
