Born on the 3nd of July!
Okay, so I just moved into my new place in Boston, and it's pretty chill. AC, a kitchen (with dishwasher and brand new oven!), a bathroom, a living room, two rooms, and a dining area. I'm supposed to be sharing one of the two bedrooms with some other kid but - and here's where you cross your fingers - he has yet to show up. According to the roster, he's AWOL, so maybe I'll have this whole room to myself. King sized bed? (made from two twin beds) Yes please. :)
My suitemate - the kid in the other room - seems pretty chill. In addition to bein' a Sox fan, he's a Penguin's fan (Pittsburg's hockey team) which is absolutely awesome, because I've never found anyone who matches that combo (my preferred combo) EVER! So he's pretty cool in that respect. Plus he's a computer science major, who can help me when my computer shatters into a billion pieces (as it frequently does).
I start work on Wenesday, I'm not thrilled about it, but you know what? it'll be cool. I've taken a much better attitude about it since my last update.
Oh, yeah, and if this other roommate of mine doesn't show up, then that means that anyone who wants to visit will have a classy apartment, better than a hotel suite, with their own bed to crash in whenever. Cool, no?
