No Heat

The apt has been extremely cold as of late. Alix called the clubhouse on Thursday and asked them to come take a look. As of this morning we had still seen no one. I called again today when checking the mail and found a note from management asking us to keep our thermostats at 70 degrees during these really cold days to avoid frozen pipes. I

This is not the first time that your furnace has gone out on you. And moron who blew out the pilot light on the water heater could have killed you (either with C01 poisoning or a big-ass explosion when you tried to turn on a light). Methinks it's time for some hell-raising.

We seem to have some issue with heat pumps. Every year we end up without heat for a week or so. Who knows. As for the water heater, that was nature. It lives outside in the utility closet off the deck. Apparently the crazy wind got in there and did some dirty work.
