Please don't go suburban rythm.
So I've had a nice summer thus far. Lets recap:
End of June-NYLT
NYLT went alright. It was incredibly frustrating though. That week was
probably the roughest test of how long I could hold out without killing
someone. And I beat it! But that week certainly took a toll on a few
friendships. I tried to be civilized (I suppose), but I constantly saw
things that weren't getting done, and people not doing them and it
irritated me. It go so bad that even Lindsey caught part of my wrath,
and he was only there for two days! Poor Lindsey. But he knew how hard
it was for me, so he understand. Outside of all of that I had a great
time hanging out with Brandon, Matt, Callahan, The Van's, and others.
Most of the scoutcraft stuff went off alright. Although alot of it got
changed while I wasn't at camp (Left thursday night for council
recognition dinner), so that was part of my frustrations. But oh well.
Glad its done, but then again, I love being at camp and miss it tons.
The kids make going through hell totally worth it. July - Everything
Once I returned home I returned back to work. And guess what I got?
Thats right, I got a kick butt job performance review. And, by the way,
I am distinguished at 'respecting managers', or as Mrs. wood put it,
sucking up to managers. Go Me!
I've been spendign most of time with Jessica, and working. I taught her
how to play euchre, so we've been playing tons of that. Then her,
myself, Rachel and Josh went to see Reel Big Fish on the 8th. It was
fricken awesome! They did an amazing version of "S.R.", which was the
hightlight for me. I had my picture taken with the lead singer of one
of the opening acts, Zolof. She was pretty cool. She even put my
picture up on their website! Check out

Yesturday Jessica left for Florida for a few days. It was sad. I miss
her already. So with my day I escaped to camp Rotary. I had a blast.
