I love the beach. There's something about it that makes my heart smile. I love sunshine. I'm your true southern California girl. Shopping and the beach...is there anything else to life?
I went to the beach Monday with Patricia. I love her and am inexplicably thankful for the great friendship she provides. I bought 2 new pairs of Havianas flip flops too. I now own them in brown, purple, hot pink and turquoise. I hope to have 'em all by fall semester.

I went to Emily's last night to hang out with her and spend the night. Her new boyfriend (first boy) is just great. They're great together. They have something meaningful and lasting, but they're not fooling themselves either. I hate the couples that proclaim that they "love" eachother after a couple weeks together. Makes me cringe.
CBU accepted too many freshman for this next year, so myself and 9 other girls from my amazing wing last year might live together in what the school is calling "the cottages". It's a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom, living room, kitchen, and laundry room apartment-type thing. We'd have a porch and everything. I think it'd be a blast. We'll just have to see, because a part of me would miss the dorm-life.
I have my first morning shift at Starbucks tomorrow morning, I have to be there at 4:15am tomorrow. gross. I'll be coming home and sleeping immediately after. Good thing they pay me as well as they do... :-)

Sunshine makes me high. I feel bad for those who do not live in warm areas with beaches. People say Florida is cool too, but I think I'm too loyal to So.Cal. to give that a try.
