Stupid knee update. :-P
So, I had my doctor's appointment today to see what was wrong with my knee. They took some X-rays to make sure that everything looked ok bone/knee cap-wise, & everything was fine there (he my knees were actually pretty healthy according to the X-rays). I had to wait for FOREVER in the examining room with these huge-ass dorky blue shorts on for the actual doctor to come examine my knee. He came in, worked w/ my knee a bit, poking & proding & twisting my leg & I actually for the first time was able to really tell where the pain was coming from (a spot on the inside of the knee...medial side (I think?...closest to the middle of the body).
He thinks its a torn meniscus, which is the cartilage padding for the bones (see here: http://meded-portal.ucsd.edu/isp/2006/knee/images/Knee4.jpg).
I have an appointment to get an MRI of the knee done on Friday (7:30am!) at the MSU Clinical Center & another appointment next week to go over the MRI results & see about possible surgery if surgery would help it.
