So the past two days have been the worst two daying in my entire life thus far! I went to the doctors office yesterday and when my mom pocked me up she told me that my pepere wasn't doing so good and that she was going over there for the night and that she would be home in the morning. I didn't see anything wrong with that until later on in the day when I went over there with my cousin Amanda and her two kids. When we were there my pepere was calling out for his sister, who died 10 or more year ago...telling her to hurry up and come get him and telling her that he didn't want to suffer anymore. I started crying because I knew that my pepere wasn't going to survive any longer. We were told to take the boys home and so we did...Amanda left to do somethings shortly after I called Kris to come and be with me. About a half hour or so later my mom called Amanda's house and told me that they weren't going to give pepere 24 hours to live...I called Vicky and had her come over to watch the boys so I could go to my memere's house to be with the family. At about 8:00pm my pepere started to loose control of his bowel movements, so my mom and my aunt Diane started cleaning him up...at 8:15 I heard Diane calling for my pepere to wake up...all I could do was sit there and say "they better wake him up" over and over again. About 30 seconds later my aunt came out of the living room balling her eyes out and I immediately knew that my pepere had left us for good. I compeletly lost control, luckily Kris was there to help me get through the night.
The wake is tomorrow from 5-8 and the funeral is saturday at 10:00am...I can't believe he is really gone for good. :( I've been taking it really hard, and so hasn't the rest of the family, but we're getting by and trying our hardest not to be too sad, because we know that for the first time in a long time my pepere is not in any pain at all. He will forever be missed! Thank you Kris for being there when I needed you the most...you are the greatest man I know. I know it was a rough night last night, but you got me through it all. I LOVE YOU!
