Hooray! I learned my last Arabic letter today! I learned the whole alphabet in 5 weeks. I wonder how long it took me the first time? So now I know my alif baa taas, but the glee is somewhat muted by the fact that the prof assigned us a mountain of homework for the weekend. I get the feeling that we're going to step up the pace a little from here on out, and that scares me a little. But for extra practice, anyone who wants me to write their name in Arabic leave me a comment, and I'll do the best I can.
In other news, I have decided to be Miss America for Halloween. This means I have 2 weeks to lose 5 pounds so I can fit in my ballgown again. Stupid frites and chocolate and beer.
