Summer is fully underway again, which means it's time to ride my bike everywhere, go swim in as many lakes as possible, and work my ass off. So far two out of three, because I'm still 75% unemployed (I was going to say totally, but I'm doing ten hours a week for Doctoral, so that's at least part of a job.) Thank god for savings and cheap Spokane rent or I would have had to Borrow Money From My Parents. I'm already aiming to be a Barista With a BFA, so I don't need anymore cliches hanging over my head.
I've decided that if I do get that full time nanny job next summer (It starts part-time this fall) I'll buy myself a new bike. I think by this point I've been legitimately obsessed for at least a good two years, which means I now deserve to replace the bike my brother used in fourth grade (I'm completely serious about that. we're small people.) and get something nicer, or at least something with bigger wheels.
