We have a new all time greatest debtor excuse.
"I'm in a coma. People in comas don't pay their bills. I've been sent home to die because of my coma so I'm not going to pay anything, I'm just going to die from my coma."
I don't think I've ever actually been speechless at work. I've told debtors I was speechless as a negotiating technique but I I don't recall ever being without anything to say (that is to say anything that wouldn't get me fired). I Just said OK, and ended the call. Jaunita pointed out that people in coma's don't usually speak as well as she did.
