Summary: Since it's obvious Shinigami will not willingly indulge him in the current events, Ulquiorra does what he does best...
Whatever had weighed in the air, or more aptly, had seemed absent, had by now lifted so that things were no different from his previous excursions to the Shinigami realm. It was vaguely like staring at the after-images of a light's glare off of a surface, long after you'd looked away from it. The impression, the memory of it remained ingrained in his mind's eye.
The Shinigami were meticulous in keeping their own concerns to themselves, and it was only by chance Ulquiorra had even managed to first glean exactly what was amiss. Of course, he received no response to his inquiry, but not that he had expected one anyway. As obvious as the lack of trust was towards the Vaizard by Shinigami, all the more so that between both parties towards the Arrancar. Another slip in communications had given the Espada little more to go on, but Gin had already jumped on that matter. The Cuatra Espada would not be surprised if the former Third Division Captain already knew what was going on, but he would see to what he had said he would do, regardless.
His reiatsu kept under tight control, Ulquiorra made his way along the placid walkways off to the side, a white shadow that slid into the peripheral vision as unobtrusively as possible. The less noticed he was, the better, although he knew that the best way to have gone about that would have been to borrow one of Szayel-Aporro's devices. No matter, now. Even though Ulquiorra doubted he might find anything out so easily, he would certainly keep an eye out.
