The Twins had been kicked out to Rukongai on a rare night off after making dinner (for once, it wasn't Kensei - he was busy). The house was clean, the pantry stocked, the sake and other necessities chilled and Kuukaku had even found a deck of cards somewhere in the chaos as well. Leaning back with a magazine that Yoruichi had brought from the living world in her lap, the Shiba clan head awaited the arrival of her oldest friend and one of her newest ones (relationship to her cousin non-withstanding) to commemorate a night of drink, laughing, and gabbing about whatever and whoever they wanted.
When she told the Twins that Yoruichi would be stopping by, they started grabbing rice without a word. The spread of sushi on the table in the middle of the room was mind-boggling in both it's size, variety, and just how many variations of salmon could be incorporated into it. Satisfied that her guests would be well fed, all that was left to do was to wait for the madness to begin.
