Characters: Honshou Chizuru, Kon
When: January 19, around noon
Where: The Kuroneko Café
Rating: PG-13, probably - it's Kon and Chizuru around a bunch of pretty women, after all
Summary: To help boost his mood after all the serious business, Kon stops by a café full of pretty waitresses, and runs into an old school-chum of the Karakura gang.
It had been a really rough few weeks. First off had been the utter horror of the revelation that Ichigo and Neesan were dating. Kon still didn't get how that could have happened, but for Neesan's sake if nothing else, he was trying to accept it. Trying. But it was really, really difficult, and if he thought about it for too long at a stretch, his head hurt. How did Ichigo even deserve a goddess like her?
Then, of course, there had been Ishida's disappearance and that terrifying video on the network. Kon had spent a good deal of time hiding under the bed after that before he realized how silly such an action was. Besides, the enemy couldn't want to have anything to do with a simple mod soul like him, right? Not that he hadn't been worried about Ishida, but a guy had to look out for himself, too.
And then the attack on Soul Society. He'd been almost beside himself with worry over Neesan's safety, so when she'd turned up okay, he was immensely relieved. But he'd still been concerned about Nemu-chan, and sure he wasn't terribly fond of Ichigo, but he didn't want the guy to get killed, either.
Things were finally settling down, though, and as an additional pick-me-up Kon decided to head out and have some fun.
With only the tiniest bounce in his step, he strolled down the street with his hands in his pockets until he came upon the sign he was looking for: Kuroneko Café. The other day, he'd seen a flyer for this place, and instantly wondered how he didn't know of such a wondrous thing as a maid café. Waitresses specifically hired because they were young and pretty, and a short skirt was part of the uniform? Utter brilliance!
He pushed open the door and stepped inside, sighing with delight at the sight that greeted him. Oh, this place was wonderful. The girls scampered back and forth on amazing legs while they took orders, stunning faces alight with beautiful smiles . . . He could get used to this.
[OOC: Tag time for Chizuru!]
